SOPRALENE FLAM ECO3
SOPRALENE FLAM ECO3 is a top layer membrane made of elastomer-modified asphalt (SBS), manufactured industrially by impregnating the reinforcement with the distilled asphalt-based waterproofing compound, giving the membrane excellent technical characteristics. SOPRALENE FLAM ECO3 is a self-protected membrane. The upper side is coated with SOPREMA ECO3 mineral gravel, this SOPREMA ECO3 gravel is designed with a specialized photocatalyst coating applied to the mineral, which, when reacting with UV light, absorbs the particles of nitrogen oxide gases (NOx) that are in the atmosphere and accelerates their oxidation process creating water-soluble ions, which are cleaned by rainwater. This process drastically reduces the amount of contaminants at ground level, decreasing greenhouse effect and creating healthier communities.
